My philosophy of counseling is blended and eclectic.  In therapeutic vernacular, my clinical approach is relational and psychodynamic, and is influenced by attachment theory, family systems, object relations, and mindfulness.  In language that may hold more meaning for you, I believe that change and healing come through relationship.  Each of us has the inherent desire to be fully understood by another person.  My goal is to offer you the gift of presence in a space that is sacred in its safety.  My approach is empathic, collaborative, compassionate, and full of curiosity about who you are and what you want.  I also have significant life experience, which influences my perspective.  I believe all of this shapes me as a therapist, just as the entirety of your experiences shapes you.

I am a fully licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with the state of Washington (credential #LH60740893) and a designated Mental Health Professional.  I provide counseling for individuals 13 and older, couples, and families.

I offer counseling services exclusively via confidential telehealth.
